Jayshree Seth is a Corporate Scientist and the first-ever Chief Science Advocate at 3M. An award-winning innovator, prolific inventor, TEDx speaker, and accomplished thought leader, she holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering and has been awarded 80 patents over her three decades at 3M. Jayshree brings a unique and practical perspective on innovation, leadership, culture, and careers, shaped by her experience developing groundbreaking products and technologies.
In 2025, she was named to the Thinkers50 Radar list of global management thinkers. She is also the author of the The Heart of Science – Engineering Footprints, Fingerprints, & Imprints, The Heart of Science – Engineering Fine Print and The Heart of Science – Engineering Blueprint, which includes more than 50 actionable frameworks for corporate innovators, managers, and leaders. All proceeds from her books support a SWE-administered scholarship for women in STEM.
