CALIFORNIA CONSUMER PRIVACY ACT NOTICE

1. About this Privacy Notice

AdaMarie, a Division of Advanced Clinical LLC (each referred to herein as “AdaMarie”) have issued this California Consumer Privacy Notice (“CCPA Notice”) pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”), as amended. This CCPA Notice, effective January 1, 2026, applies to Personal Information (described below) of residents of the State of California in their capacity as consumers, including job seekers (“California Consumers”) and supplements the terms of AdaMarie ’s privacy policy (click here to view Privacy Policy).  For purposes of this Notice, “AdaMarie” shall refer to the AdaMarie entity (AdaMarie a division of Advanced Clinical LLC). 

2. Personal Information Collected and Sources of Information

AdaMarie collects the categories of personal information (“Personal Information”) indicated in the table below. In most cases, we collect Personal Information directly from you, but we also may collect Personal Information from data collection technologies including other electronic network activity and certain third parties.

AdaMarie collects, discloses and uses your Personal Information as part of its business operations, including when you subscribe and create a profile. The purposes for which we collect Personal Information are described below and generally include the provision of our services to you and employers. Your Personal Information may be shared with third parties including clients, Affiliates, and service providers. Any Personal Information that AdaMarie collects in connection with your subscription may also be used to comply with applicable law and to defend legal claims. 

The Personal Information that you provide to AdaMarie will be used by AdaMarie to process your subscription for the services you have purchased.

The CCPA requires that AdaMarie tell you whether we collect any personal information described in California Civil Code Section 1798.80(e), which includes a broad list of categories of personal information, as described below.

AdaMarie may add to the categories of Personal Information it collects and the purposes it uses Personal Information. In that case, AdaMarie will inform you

We do not sell or share, as those terms are defined under applicable law, the above categories of Personal Information. We do not use or disclose your Sensitive Personal Information for purposes that, with limited exceptions, are not necessary for the application-related purpose for which we collect it or as reasonably expected by an average individual.

3. Automated Processing 

AdaMarie may perform automated processing of your Personal Information to analyze and predict your preferences and interests. Automated processing is necessary for us to provide our Services to job seekers and Employers. For example, automated processing allows us to match job seekers Profiles with Employers effectively, to create lists of Profiles which meet Employer criteria, to provide job seekers with job alerts and recommended jobs in accordance with their choices, to share job seeker Profiles with Employers, to display search results, administer Employer queries, and to perform certain spam and fraud detection activities to protect our Users. AdaMarie does not make decisions based solely on automated processing.

4. Retention and Security 

AdaMarie will retain your Personal Information for as long as you continue your membership. We will delete your Personal Information from our systems within six (6) months of termination of your membership unless we are legally required to keep it longer. You may request that AdaMarie delete your Personal Information at any time by submitting a Personal Data Request. See the section entitled Your Privacy Rights for more information. 

Information you post in the Ada Marie community forum or your Profile may be accessed, used, and stored by other parties around the world, including those in countries that might not have legislation that guarantees adequate protection of personal data as defined by your country of residence. While AdaMarie takes measures to safeguard your information from unauthorized access or inappropriate use, AdaMarie does not control these third parties, and we are not responsible for their use of information you post. 

Your Profile When you create a Profile, we store it in the AdaMarie Profile database which is hosted in the United States. Your Profile will be visible to AdaMarie and partner companies who enable the AdaMarie website. Your Profile may be shared with Employers as an output from an automated processing activity. If you agree at the time of creating your Profile, your Profile information i.e. name, email and LinkedIn profile information will be visible to Employers who have access to the AdaMarie Profile database. If you want to edit or remove your Profile from the AdaMarie Profile database or change your Profile visibility setting to Employers you should email job-board@ada-marie.com. Any change you make to your LinkedIn profile will be reflected in the AdaMarie Profile database without the need to request a change to your AdaMarie Profile.  

We cannot control the retention, use or privacy of Profiles that have been viewed or downloaded by others. You should not post sensitive information about yourself, for example gender, marital status, health data, or any other information you would not want made public, such as your address or phone number, to any AdaMarie Site or application or to any public website.  

If you apply for a job or provide your contact information to express interest in a job at a potential employer website or posting, or if you respond to a communication from an employer, you understand that you will be sharing your information directly with the relevant employer and all communications and correspondence with the potential employer will be subject to their privacy policies. 

You are responsible for keeping your AdaMarie account username and password secret. 

The security of your Personal Information is important to us. We utilize a variety of safeguards to protect the Personal Information submitted to us, both during transmission and once it is received. AdaMarie takes appropriate measures to secure your Personal Information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. However, if your Personal Information is subject to an unauthorized disclosure, AdaMarie may not be able to retrieve it from the third party who accessed it. Accordingly, you should not share sensitive information, personality profiles, or other information you would not want to make public with AdaMarie 

When you place an order online at AdaMarie, your credit card information is encrypted with industry standard encryption. 

You should be aware that Profile may be monitored by your current employer.  

AdaMarie is not intended for, nor do we knowingly collect information from, children under the age of 18. 

5. Your Rights

AdaMarie may retain your Personal Information after you have closed your account only if reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations (including law enforcement requests), meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, investigate security incidents, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms and Conditions or fulfill your request to “unsubscribe” from further messages from us. We will retain anonymized information after your account has been closed.

Right to Know: California consumers have the right to submit a verifiable request to know:

· The categories and specific pieces of Personal Information that AdaMarie has collected about them

· The categories of sources from which AdaMarie has collected Personal Information

· The categories of Personal Information that AdaMarie has shared or disclosed to a third party (other than a service provider) for a business purpose and the categories of recipients of that information; and

· The business or commercial purposes for AdaMarie’s collection, disclosure, sale, and sharing of the  Personal Information

Right to Delete: California consumers have the right to submit a verifiable request for deletion of their Personal Information that AdaMarie has collected from them to the extent permitted by law.

Request to Update: California Consumers have the right to submit a verifiable request that AdaMarie correct any inaccurate Personal Information we maintain about you, taking into account the nature of that information and purpose for processing it.

Right to Non-Discrimination for the Exercise of Your Privacy Rights. We will not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising any of the rights described above.

Limit the Use of Your Sensitive Personal Information: AdaMarie only collects sensitive personal information for payments processing.  

Unsubscribe from AdaMarie Communications: Unsubscribe from AdaMarie email, text, and paper mail communications.  Upon receiving an unsubscribe request, we will act upon the request as soon as possible.

Do Not Sell/Share Personal Information: You may have the right to direct AdaMarie not to sell your personal information to third parties. AdaMarie will not “sell” your personal information in the commonly understood sense, but certain state privacy laws define “sell” in unusual ways. 

You may have the right to direct AdaMarie not to share your Personal Information with third parties for certain purposes such as behavioral advertising.

Please note that a business is only required to respond to requests that are “Verifiable Consumer Requests” which is one made by a consumer, by a consumer on behalf of the consumer’s minor child, or by a natural person or a person registered with the Secretary of State, authorized by the consumer to act on the consumer’s behalf, and that the business can reasonably verify to the be consumer about whom the business has collected Personal Information. We may request additional information from you to verify your identity in connection with a request.

We will make commercially reasonable efforts to fulfill your request within 45 days; however, if we need more time, we may extend the timeframe to an additional 45 days and notify you. 

AdaMarie and its service providers may use your Personal Information that is de-identified, in an anonymized format or aggregated (in a form in which your identity cannot be determined) for other purposes not specified above, including in the development and testing of products and services

California Minors. If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with our Services, you have the right to request removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on the Services. To request removal of such data, please contact us at privacy@advancedgroup.com and include the email address associated with your account and a statement that you reside in California. We will make sure the data is not publicly displayed on the Services; however, please be aware that the data may not be completely or comprehensively removed from all our systems (e.g., backups, etc.).

Shine the Light (California Civil Code Section 1798.83). California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine the Light” law, permits California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared such information in the immediately preceding calendar year.
