We’d love for you to be one of our AdaMarie Mirrors and to feature your profile and career journey on our site! We have a few questions we’d love for you to answer in the questionnaire below. If you’re not a survey person, we are happy to jump on a quick call and conduct a mini-interview instead!
What is a Mirror?
A Mirror is a real, working woman in STEM or career support who embodies both excellence in her field and strength of character. The more you see yourself in the person you’re watching or reading about, the stronger the impact will be on you and the more we normalize and gain exposure to women and historically marginalized groups in STEM roles and spaces, the more we will see ourselves in similar positions and have an inherent sense that we belong there. As a Mirror, you will be an inspiration to our community simply by being you and sharing what you’ve experienced. We see you as further along the path and want to showcase your authentic story, not just the highlights reel. Feel free to share as much or as little as you are comfortable with. Your story is so incredibly important!
What do you have to do to become a Mirror?
Simply answer the interview questions below! We’ll reach out via email for a headlining photo and optional candids to include alongside your responses.
Who will see my story and how?
Once published, your story will be visible via Google search and will be actively promoted on our blog, Instagram, and LinkedIn to our community. Although everyone is technically allowed to join, the vast majority of our community members are women* between the ages of 18-35 in STEM. Your story will not be used in any other capacity without your permission.*
